BISHOP JOHN AELEN PROVINCE

Bishop John Aelen Illam, 63/1 Alpha Nagar, Second Street, Karumandapam, Trichy – 620 001.

Our social work is the living embodiment of Bishop John Aelen’s "burning zeal" to offer an alternate way of life to the modern-day "Panchamas." By moving beyond temporary relief to Integral Liberation, we provide the unprivileged with the tools of self-reliance—transforming the "agonizing pain" of poverty into a "blazing hope" for the future. In our remote villages, technical training in tailoring and Aari work is not just a skill; it is a means of evoking a consciousness of self-dignity and self-respect among women, allowing them to stand as leaders of their own households. Our commitment to providing interest-free loans mirrors the compassionate heart of our Founder, breaking the chains of debt and exploitation that keep the downtrodden in bondage. In the spirit of St. Joseph and St. Francis of Assisi, the humble workers and protectors, we strive to establish radical equality by ensuring that every woman has the economic power to shape her own destiny. Let our commission be a prophetic voice of solidarity, proving that through skillful hands and fair resources, the process of liberation becomes a tangible reality for the most marginalized.
