Formation is the sacred process of breathing life into the "Founding Spirit" of Bishop John Aelen, ensuring that our missionary enterprise remains holistic and far-reaching in every dimension of human life. As we are not merely training personnel but forming prophetic witnesses of Integral Liberation, our formation houses must become schools of "Blazing Hope" for a new generation. In the spirit of our Founder, who was "busy morning till night" with a vision for the marginalized, we must cultivate a compassionate heart that truly hears the modern "cry of the poor." We are called to develop the zeal of St. Joseph and St.Francis, of Assisi becoming silent yet powerful protectors of the vulnerable, with a singular emphasis on the dignity of women and girl children. This journey requires us to first realize our own radical equality in Christ so that we may effectively evoke self-respect and self-dignity in the downtrodden. By moving beyond ordinary service, we prepare every sister to enter into deep solidarity with the oppressed and the agonizing pain of the marginalized. Our goal is an intentional, liberative process that offers an alternate way of life to those who have been socially discriminated. Let our formation be a transformative encounter that turns missionary zeal into a lived reality for the "Panchamas" of our time. Through this rigorous and spiritual preparation, we ensure that the legacy of Bishop John Aelen continues to flourish in the hearts of those called to serve.
